2004 PMAP embark on a mission to bring Investors in People to the Philippines

 

2005 A grant is approved by the European Union to finance setting up an Investors in People Centre within PMAP

 

2005 A two year pilot license for Investors in People is approved and a training program commenced to train Investors in People Specialists. 10 organisations identified to benefit from advice and assessment leading to accreditation. Lafarge Cement Services becomes the first company to achieve Investors in People accreditation in the Philippines (now Republic Cement).

 

2006 First organisations achieve Investors in People accreditations in the Philippines. Q2 HR Solutions is the first Philippines based company to be accredited.

 

2007 Full license granted to PMAP to deliver Investors in People services subject to annual quality assurance review.

 

2009  A new approach to Investors in People is launched that directly links people management practice with organisational priorities and objectives.

Investors in People is adopted as the approach for assessing organisations in the PMAP Employer of the Year awards.

 

2011 The Investors in People license is transferred to Investors in People Philippines, delivered by Inspiring Partners. Investors in People Philippines becomes an independent Incorporated company with PMAP taking an equity share.

 

2012 The Investors in People online employee survey becomes available to organisations in the Philippines

 

2013 Investors in People Philippines launches ‘Working with Investors in People’ to help organizations get started using Investors in People to improve business performance.

 

Q2 HR Solutions becomes our first gold awardee.

 

From 2013 to 2016 we have focused on improving our support for accredited organisations, and those working towards, with regular celebration and learning events.

 

Investors in People Generation 6 is launched in 2016. The new standard was designed taking into account the latest international research into good practice in leading and managing people and ensure that the Standard is relevant in the current business environment.

Investors in People Philippines now has 40 accredited organizations who we help to continue improving their leadership and people management practices to achieve their business ambitions.

2017 PMAP sells back their equity share in Investors in People Philippines so that company is whole owned by the Board of Directors who are directly involved in the leadership of the company.
